Kenneth
M. Gassman, Jr.
Ken Gassman
is a veteran of 20 years on Wall Street. As a Retail & Consumer
Analyst, he worked with national U.S. retailers including Wal-Mart,
Lowe’s Companies, Circuit City, and others. In addition, he worked
very closely with companies in the jewelry industry including Kay Jewelers,
Zale Corporation, Movado, Lazare Kaplan, and others, both in the U.S.
and worldwide.
As President and Founder of the Jewelry Industry Research Institute,
Ken focuses exclusively on the global jewelry and diamond industry,
particularly at the consumer level. He has authored two major publications
on the jewelry industry for financial investors.
Ken has been quoted in major financial trade publications such as the
Wall Street Journal and Business Week. In addition, major newspapers
such as the New York Times and the Washington Post also have quoted
him.
Ken travels extensively around the world, consulting with industry executives
and others interested in learning more about the global jewelry industry.
He also spends time in shopping malls worldwide studying jewelry retailing.
